Cheshire County Ladies’ Golf Association

The Annual General Meeting of the above Association will take place on Monday 9th November 2009 at 11am.

At the Racecourse, Chester.

Items for inclusion in the Agenda and Nominations for the Executive Committee must be received by the Hon. Secretary no later than Thursday 31^st August.

It is suggested that a person nominated has had experience on a Golf Club Committee.

Each CCLGA Affiliated Club has the power to nominate one Member from their Club providing the Club is not already represented. Members to be elected to the committee must be nominated from their County Home Club. It would be helpful if you would include a short C.V. with your nomination, which would be displayed at the AGM in order to assist members to vote.

Vacancies on the Executive Committee exist as follows:-

Mid Cheshire:- 1 for three years, 1 for two years

West Cheshire: 1 for three years, 1 for one year

North East Cheshire: 1 for 3 years, 1 for 1 year

Stockport Golf Club has representatives on Cheshire County Ladies’ Golf Association Executive Committee and is not able to make nominations for these positions.

The retiring members of the Executive Committee are Mrs Caroline Marron and Mrs Marian Scowcroft.

Mrs Gill James (Ringway G.C.), Mrs Dorothy Sandham (Davenport G.C), Mrs Janet Robinson (Eaton G. C), Mrs Gill Anderton (Mere G.C) and Mrs Yvonne Mann (Birchwood G.C) have been co-opted this year and will now be nominated.
