Centenary Events

An Evening with Dr Karl Morris - one of Europe's leading sports Psychologists (www.golf-brain) was held at Ringway G.C. on Monday 5th March at 7pm. It was a very entertaining evening and well attended. All went away with some new thought processes and techniques to try to improve.

A Centenary Luncheon was held on Wednesday 21st March at Mere Golf & Country. After so long in its preparation it was a great relief that the occasion seemed to be enjoyed by all. Over 270 people attended and some 30 clubs were represented. Our Centenary book was launched and our thanks go to the Book Committee for producing such an interesting record of our Association. We were presented with a ‘Quaich’ by the LGU President, Joan Neville, and a vase from the ELGA President, Diane Bailey to commemorate our Centenary.
