Competitors must be a
member of the County Association and may only play for their County Home Club,
but more than one couple may enter from each Club. The Winning Club to hold the
Cup for one year the players each receiving a Memento.

Entries limited to 64
couples. No individual player to have an ‘active’ handicap over 30. Competitors
may enter with a combined handicap in excess of 40 but must play off maximum 40
combined for competition. Should there be more than 64 entries, those having
the highest combined handicaps will be eliminated. If any couple cancels, the
next couple on the waiting list will be substituted.

Play must be from the
L.G.U tees. ˝ of the difference in combined handicap being given. Matches which
are square on the 18th must be played to a finish, strokes being given as
before.

A Foursomes stableford
Competition (1/2 combined ‘active’ handicap) to be played on the 2nd day. As
there will be a limited number of places available, priority will be given to
players knocked out in their first
round
